UnderSound aka Gareth Evans trained as a classical musician.
But, make no bones about it, this guys knows how to move a dance floor!
This is not electronic producer, but this is someone that understands
and knows how to read music, write chord progressions and melodies…
and it shows within the music that is produced.
He has since gone on to sign several tunes with,Influenza records, Deep Instinct records, Point 9 Audio, Ennex records, Funkstar records, Distinctive Beats, an E.P set for Hustle Audio and a full length album for Liquid Brilliants.
Having recently explored the “remix” side of drum and bass, he is already making headway with a remix of ’26 Police’ by reggae acts Savana and Junior Reid, as well as a mix of ‘Lost voice’ by Oxford Indy sensation ‘Ute’.
His first release, ‘Happy go lucky’ and ‘That thing called’ is out now on Point 9 Audio. There are more tracks scheduled for release with lots of interesting collaborations planned with Dan Marshall, Bionic 1 and more, along with more instrumental session work for artists such as Blame, High Contrast and Deeizm.
